The last September camp at New Spirit

From 27 September to 3 October 2026, KBC organises a Kite Event at New Spirit Dakhla, on the western shore of the lagoon. Over six days, the team announces five to six daily hours combining lessons and practice, then a free day. Storage for personal equipment and a lycra are included. The advertised sports price is 575 euros. The format is aimed at beginners as well as riders wanting to work on new tricks in a small group. The accommodation sits right on the spot, which makes sessions easier, but its price must be checked separately in the final basket.

Rental option and the real content

Participants without equipment can add a full rental including kite, board, bar and neoprene for the six days, announced at 179 euros. Confirm whether the harness is provided, the available sizes, the rules for changing kites and the insurance during independent phases. A rider bringing their own equipment should ask about the storage conditions and any station fees. As the event crosses the end of the month, check that your travel cover, the accommodation and the return flight run through to 3 October. A one-night mismatch is enough to noticeably change the total price.

Learning in a language you understand

The French page describes the event, but the actual teaching may be organised in another language depending on the team and the participants. This question matters especially for a beginner who must immediately understand the signals, the right-of-way rules and the safety procedures. Before paying, ask for written confirmation of the language available. Also describe your level in concrete actions: controlling the kite, relaunching, riding upwind or changing direction. This precision helps the organiser build a coherent group and avoids spending much of the week on exercises that are too easy or too advanced.

Planning the days without riding

If the wind is lacking or exceeds roughly 25 knots, KBC organises alternative activities such as theory, equipment knowledge and self-rescue. They are included in the event and do not generate a voucher. So pack sports clothing and treat these days as part of the training. The centre also lets you relax by the pool or the beach club depending on the hotel's services.
